4. Information About Products Obtained Elsewhere
You may add insurance policies, investments, travel arrangements or other supported relationships obtained from providers other than ClarityBridge. Their presence in your ClarityBridge account does not mean that ClarityBridge originally sold, issued, advised upon or arranged those products. You should provide only information and documents that you are legally entitled to provide.
5. How We Use Information
ClarityBridge may use personal information to create, authenticate and protect your account; organise your financial and travel relationships; maintain documents; identify relevant dates, renewals and milestones; provide reminders and notifications; provide ConfuseAI functionality; process Second Opinion and support requests; provide services requested by you; facilitate transactions where appropriate and legally permitted; communicate with you; process and verify payments; issue receipts and customer communications; improve service reliability and customer experience; prevent fraud, misuse and security threats; maintain appropriate operational and audit records; and comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Absence of a particular product from your ClarityBridge account does not mean that you do not hold that product elsewhere.
6. AI-Assisted Processing and ConfuseAI
ClarityBridge may use artificial intelligence and automated processing as part of its services. This includes ConfuseAI and document-assisted extraction.
For example, an uploaded insurance policy may be processed to identify information such as insurer, policy number, premium and renewal date. Automated extraction can be incomplete or incorrect. Where confirmation is requested, you should review extracted information and correct errors before confirming it.
AI-generated information should not be regarded as guaranteed, error-free, complete or as replacing an authoritative policy, contract, investment document, itinerary or other underlying document.
7. Authenticated ConfuseAI
When you interact with ConfuseAI while signed into your Client Portal, ConfuseAI may use authorised structured information already recorded in your ClarityBridge relationship to make the interaction more useful.
This does not mean ConfuseAI automatically receives unrestricted access to every document or piece of information held by ClarityBridge. Access should remain subject to authentication, customer isolation, authorisation and appropriate data minimisation. Public or unauthenticated ConfuseAI interactions do not receive another customer's private relationship information.
8. Document Processing
Documents uploaded to ClarityBridge may be stored and processed to provide authorised functionality. One relationship may have multiple supporting documents. You remain responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to upload the information contained in those documents. ClarityBridge may restrict or remove files presenting security, legal or operational concerns.
9. Sharing of Information
ClarityBridge does not sell your personal information to advertisers.
We may use trusted service providers supporting functions such as infrastructure, hosting, databases, authentication, document storage, email delivery, security, analytics and artificial-intelligence functionality.
Information may also be shared where reasonably necessary to fulfil a service or transaction requested by you, including with relevant insurers, financial institutions, distributors, travel providers or other counterparties. We may disclose information where required by applicable law, lawful authority, court order, regulatory requirement, fraud/security investigation or legitimate corporate transaction.
10. Security
ClarityBridge uses technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss and misuse. These may include authentication, access controls, customer isolation, secure communications, server-side authorisation, controlled document access, audit records and security monitoring.
No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security. Customers are responsible for protecting their registered mobile number, email account, devices and authentication mechanisms.
11. Retention
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain customer relationships, maintain transaction and accounting records, meet security requirements, resolve disputes and comply with legal or regulatory obligations. Different categories of information may therefore have different retention periods.
12. Your Choices and Requests
Subject to applicable law, customers may contact ClarityBridge regarding access to relevant personal information; correction or updating; withdrawal of consent where applicable; account-related privacy concerns; deletion requests; or grievances concerning processing of personal information.
Certain information may need to be retained despite a deletion request where retention is required or permitted for legal, regulatory, accounting, security, dispute-resolution or other legitimate purposes.
13. Communications
ClarityBridge may send service communications relating to security, account activity, transactions, documents, renewals, important dates, Second Opinions, travel, requests and other aspects of your relationship. Promotional communications will be handled in accordance with applicable requirements and available communication preferences.
14. Information Concerning Children
ClarityBridge accounts are intended primarily for adults capable of establishing and managing an account. Information concerning children may nevertheless form part of legitimate family insurance, investment, financial-planning or travel records submitted by a parent, guardian or otherwise authorised person. Where specific consent or verification requirements apply to children's personal data, ClarityBridge will handle such information in accordance with applicable law.
15. Third-Party Services
Our platform may link to or facilitate interactions with insurers, financial institutions, travel providers and other third parties. Those organisations operate under their own terms and privacy practices. ClarityBridge is not responsible for their independent privacy practices.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
ClarityBridge may update this Privacy Policy as its services or applicable requirements evolve. The current version and effective date will be displayed on our website. Where a material change affects the manner in which personal information is processed, ClarityBridge may provide additional notice or obtain renewed acknowledgement where appropriate.
